This retreat will be taking place online from Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th July. To take part you will need to have Zoom downloaded onto your phone or computer.
Practices will include a short asana practice, Deep Meditation and Spinal Breathing Pranayama. It will consist of three evening classes and one afternoon class on the Sunday. Each evening we will explore a different topic of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. The text is considered to be one of the foundation texts of yoga, written between 500BC and 500AD. It explores different aspects of the path of yoga, including the famous eight limbs. It also describes samyama practice and the process of enlightenment (kaivalya).
The retreat will be led in English and is a CPD (Yoga Alliance – 8 hours). Class times are in U.K. (London) time.
To take part, it is recommended to be in a quiet location where you can focus on your spiritual practices over the weekend.
Teacher
Tristan Dorling e-RYT 500 (YACEP)
Tristan has been practicing yoga and meditation for around 35 years and teaching internationally for the last 12 years. He trained in Nepal, Thailand, India and Sri Lanka.
He specializes in the teaching of meditation, pranayama and the philosophy of yoga.

16:00-18:00 : 30 minute pranayama and deep meditation session. Talk on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, followed by a Q and A session.
